LCO RECYCLING CENTER
Through education and outreach it will be the mission of the LCO Recycling Center to steer the public away from trash and into the realm of reduce, reuse, and recycle.
Trash will be accepted in LCO Recycling bags at $3.00 per 30 gallon bag or $25 per bundle of 10 bags
Bags will be sold at the LCO Country Store, LCO Housing Authority and the LCO Recycling Center.

White Goods
LCO Recycling will continue receiving white goods/appliances but rates are being increased in order to stay sustainable
Recycling
Recyclables will be accepted at NO CHARGE, as long as paper goods are separated from other accepted items. Cardboard and paper products must be separated from cans, bottles or any wet or dirty recyclables. Aluminum cans, glass bottles, and rinsed out number 1-7 recyclable plastics will be accepted.
Household Hazardous Waste
Acceptable hazardous waste includes antifreeze, ballasts, acids, caustics, fertilizers, insecticides, mercury, oil, filters, oxidizers, paint, pesticides, poisons, solvents, and water reactives. Medical waste and sharps will be accepted in proper containers. Certain items cannot be safely accepted at the Recycling Center, such as radioactive materials, explosives, Freon, asbestos or ammunition.
All items previous collected at the Transfer Station will be continued to be collected at the Recycling Center.

There has been a history of illegal dumping on the reservation. If you see dump sites or individuals illegally disposing of trash, please call the LCO Conservation Department at (715) 634-0102.
